Signing Time
(Recommended for HOH/Hearing kids only)
This show was one of my first exposures to Sign Language. I would always ask my mom to get it from the library! It's like Ms. Rachel but for sign-supported speech. The language used in this show isn't fully ASL accessible. Rachel Coleman, the woman that signs in the show signs about half the words she says. That's why I only recommend it for hearing kids and kids that are acquiring speech. Fully deaf kids wouldn't really benefit much.
Dr. Wonders Workshop
This is another show I grew up watching in Sunday School. This one has Deaf actors with full ASL, English voiceover, and sound effects. It is a Christian show and has a lot of Bible teachings woven into it. I wish there were more shows like this!
Hands Land
This show is really good for learning ASL. It teaches ASL poetry and grammar.
“Once Upon a Sign” and ASL Poetry
(Once Upon a Sign can be found on DVD too)
This is one I haven't yet watched, but I'm dying to see. It has Deaf actors and is fairy tales. You can buy the episodes digitally, but I plan on buying them on DVD.
ASL Preschool Show
I'm hoping they will make more episodes of this show. This is like Deaf Ms. Rachel. That's the best way I can describe it.

This is a Deaf show with Deaf actors available on YouTube!
Sign Up Media
With this Google Chrome extension you can overlay the ASL Interpreter right on your movie screen. This only works on a laptop, using the browser. They have a ton of shows and movies interpreted in ASL! Many of the interpreters are Deaf interpreters too!
PBS Kids with ASL
This has an ASL interpreter on screen with the cartoon. So you don't have to set anything up like SignUp media.
ASL Nook
This is more of a YouTube channel than a show or series but it is created by a Deaf family.
ASL Rhymes and Rhythm
Another excellent resource for ASL grammar! It teaches ASL poetry.
